Here’s how Stars Behind Bars works:
Volunteers are “arrested” and agree to raise specific
amount of bail to benefit Starlight Children's Foundation in order to be released. The jailbird makes calls to friends,
relatives, co-workers, etc to raise their bail money. Upon raising or exceeding their “bail”, the jailbird is released.
All jailbirds are provided with lunch, invited to attend the Jailhouse Rock Reception and invite
their supporters to attend this reception celebrating their release.
