8th Annual Greater Golf Open

Starlight Children’s Foundation’s 8th Annual Starlight Greater Open will be held the afternoon of Friday, October 29, 2010 at Jacaranda Golf & Country Club in Plantation.  Representing a consolidation of the best traditions of the game combined with the latest in golf course design, Jacaranda Golf & Country Club embodies the best of both worlds for today’s golf enthusiast. 

Golfers will have the opportunity to participate in prize-winning contests such as the Hole in One, Longest Drive, Putting Contest and the “Are You Better Than a Junior Golfer?” contest. The tournament will be followed by a dinner reception, during which awards and prizes will be presented.  There are plenty of opportunities to become involved with the tournament, even for those who are not golfers. Everyone from the serious golfer to the amateur is invited to play.  Entry fees are $250 per person or $800 for a foursome and include greens fees, cart, lunch, gift bag and the evening awards dinner. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit Starlight.
