Careers and Internships

Starlight MidAtlantic has been contacted regarding ads being run on online job listing sites that are not from Starlight. While job openings are sometimes advertised online, a candidate is never hired without first being interviewed and appropriately screened.

If someone has contacted you about a position at Starlight and you have any questions about the legitimacy of the job opening, please contact info@starlight.org.

An applicant or employee of Starlight would NEVER receive a money order or check with a request to deposit the check into a personal bank account. If you have responded to such an ad or received envelopes with checks or money orders, please contact info@starlight.org so this can be reported to the appropriate authorities.

In light of recent growth, we will reassess our staffing needs and may post job openings in the second half of 2012. In the meantime, we welcome volunteer applications!

Internship Opportunities

We have a robust summer internship program every year.  Application deadline for Summer 2012 has passed (March 31,2012). We may consider interns during other times of the year for the right candidate, so please contact us! And brush up your application and mark your calendar for a summer internship application deadline in March 2013.

If you are looking for an amazing internship, Starlight Children's Foundation MidAtlantic may have one for you.  Get ready to roll up your sleeves and put your learning to work, interns are needed for the following opportunities: 

• Child Life Programming in the hospital
• Family Life Programming in the community
• Campus Outreach
• Social Media
• Grant Writing
