DC Great Escape for ALL Starlight Families

AGENDA:  The day will start with a brief presentation on lobbying by real Hill Staff and Lobbyists (some from our YPC) and a tour of the Capitol building. We’re also working on getting Gallery Passes to see the session on the floor!  Lunch will be in the cafeteria, and if interested, we’re also doing our best to schedule brief meetings with legislators/staffers.

HOTEL:  Because this is a very special event, we'd like Starlight families from outside the DC are to be able to attend. For those families from out of the area who would like to stay overnight, we’re looking for an affordable hotel near the metro in Northern Virginia. Please let us know if you are interested in a hotel room, for how many, and for which days.  Assistance to help cover hotel costs may be available based on traveling distance and financial need.  We’ll keep you updated.
