Who We Are 

Starlight MidAtlantic is the local chapter of a leading global health and education charity working to embrace, empower and enrich the lives of children from illness to wellness. 

We provide fun activities and entertainment for hospitalized kids and their families. Our goal is to make kids happier, healthier, and feeling better again sooner.  

Our programs promote the healing power of play, by bringing video games, wagons, crafts, toys and games, birthday and party cakes, entertainers, celebrity visits, tickets to community events, djs, and face painters to kids battling serious and life-threatening illnesses. We calculate that our programs have helped provide 15 million hours of entertainment since 1999! 

Our team works closely with care teams at 112 hospitals and numerous other institutions throughout the DC Metro area, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
